The worst part is the parking, its almost impossible to find a space within the railway car park as commuters have taken them all early in the morning. If you park somewhere you really shouldn't because your train is due shortly, you return to a large notice glued across your windscreen!
Station nice but could do with concourse floor being cleaned. Coffee stains etc on floor.Could be a lot nicer with just a little more care.
Limited facilities (Small caf, waiting room and part time ticket office). Trains about every half hour in both directions. (Northbound for Manchester and North Wales, Southbound for Cardiff and South West Wales). Station staff very helpful during manned hours.
Not a bad station. Walking distance to town centre, but there is a taxi rank and local bus pick up just outside doors.Ticket machine available along with a part time staffed ticket office.Small cafe availablePlenty of free parking with some disabled spaces. Disability access to north bound platform is good, but not from southbound. There is a footbridge to other platform, but wheelchair users would have a long trek to get to other side. Not sure if staff would have some other route.
