I live i old Cwmbran and i still go to Fairwater because of opening sergury not many GP have this still.
Absolutely appalling. Attended 4 appointments only to be told the mental health worker hadn't turned up and to re-arrange. Then got a letter saying we'd been de-registered for failing to turn up to appointments. Practice manager was abusive on the phone and said it was our fault. Turned out they had been fiddling their stats in order to meet a target. They refused to issue any sort of apology in writing. Nice way to treat someone with mental health issues. Made the problem 10x worse. The whole lot should be struck off.

Just read a comment about waiting in the cold for open surgery LOL!! if you choose to Que up before the surgery opens then you will have to wait outside. The surgery offers open surgery every day if you need to see a doctor, if you would lke an appt from my experience you can wait around a week. Staff are lovely. wouldnt change!
Appointments entail long waiting for date, often 3 weeks or more.Long waits outside in the cold if you want to be seen quickly in open surgeries.
